Indian Fashion Designers
Many of our guests ask about the greatest Indian fashion designers and our polite answer to them is that no one is the greatest designer. Indian and South Asian fashion dates from 200 BC when artisans and craftsmen made handmade and printed clothing ranging from raw silk to muslin which was some times as light as air and invisible. during British time many of these craftsmen were tortured to replace them by machine made items but still the ancient arts thrive in India and Pakistan and the best designer wear is always handmade.
